Planning of the site logistics for a new conception of the departure gate B (NFB) and call for tenders for the operative site construction service provider

This project required a logistics concept that considers the requirements of the running airport operation, the security requirements (as the site was located in the safety area) and an effective construction process.

Therefore the infrastructure had to be analysed and related to the phase oriented quantity demands and the site facilities installation schedules.

For the controlling during the construction phase a manual and a specification for the service provider was compiled to control the logistical framework. Later on it became integral part of the contract for all tenders for this construction project. The traffic to the site was managed with a logistics control system of time slots for every single truck.
